Do You Care About Your Customers?

If you think about it, there are really three types of affiliate marketers out there. There is one group that only cares about making money. They sugar coat even the worst products on the market and sell them to their leads regardless of how much value they can get from those products. The second group does care about their customers but often give in to the temptation of following the first group. Then, there are rare few affiliates that care about providing value to their customers. Sure. They want to make money but they understand that if they provide their customers with top notch value, the money will come.
Unfortunately, a lot of affiliates are forced to make tough decisions when the money is not there. Think about it. If you are only days away from running out of money, what would you do? In this economy, there is a good chance that you will have to hustle to get a job. But would you sacrifice your business integrity to make some quick cash and ride these tough times out? Not many have this excuse though. Real business individuals understand that you need to put your customers first. By providing your leads with the best information possible, you can help them make more knowledgeable decisions and get more value out of your relationship. If you only think about your bottom line, then you are not going to maximize your affiliate opportunities. Selling something and pretending that it is good is one thing. Knowing the true value of a product and communicating that with your leads is a whole other story.
Your take: which group do you belong to?
